It also directs clearer labeling: edible and topical medical cannabis products should display milligrams; inhalable products should display percent THC and/or CBD. Supporters told the subcommittee these changes will improve patient safety and make dosing clearer for consumers.
The amended bill also includes prohibitions on delivery to certain locations — military bases, childcare facilities, correctional institutions, fairs and some public transportation terminals — citing patient safety and access concerns in remote areas.
The subcommittee voted to report HB 391 as amended by a 7‑0 roll call.
