Morrow County approves $8,975 wiring job and nearly $10,000 elevator repair

The board approved a quote from Morrow Telephone and Security for $8,975 to address work at the Community Service Building, and subsequently approved a separate quote from Otis Elevator for courthouse elevator repairs totaling $9,989.97. Both items were moved, seconded and carried by roll call votes recorded during the meeting.
Commissioners also considered transfers to support the general fund for elections and appropriations of certified unappropriated monies for a local impact fund; the motions were moved and seconded and advanced by voice or roll call where indicated. The transcript records that each of the contract approvals was put before the board and received affirmative votes when members were called by name.
