Aubrecht Auto Group previews site plan for 80 Turnpike Road; says facility will be service‑focused

An attorney for Aubrecht Auto Group and company representatives presented an overview June 11 of their planned reuse of 80 Turnpike Road, adjacent to existing dealership properties on Longmeadow Road.
Marshall Gould, the presenting attorney, said Aubrecht is acquiring 80 Turnpike and will present full site plans to the Planning Board next week. General Manager Anthony Carboni described operational details: "There'll be no customer traffic intended to go toward the building. All of the intake for all service vehicles will be maintained being done at 84 Turnpike Road," he said, adding the company will use the Jeep store for customer waiting and pickup while 80 Turnpike will host service bays. Presenters said the dealer network will move the majority of lifts into the new facility and will net an increase in overall capacity (from 16 to 22 lifts across properties).
Presenters also described parking and valet logistics, stating some fronting display spaces may be reduced for inventory but an arrangement with the adjacent building will allow shared parking. Exterior changes are limited to two external bays and necessary egress doors; the roofline will not be raised and sprinklers will be installed because of the change in use.
Board members thanked the presenters for the reuse plan and encouraged them to bring the full site plan to the Planning Board as scheduled.
