Speaker 10 acknowledged an error on one survey question — it was set as 'check all that apply' rather than allowing multiple selections as intended — but said the project team will keep the submitted responses rather than discarding data collected so far. "We've had over 500 folks fill it out," Speaker 10 said, and recommended respondents choose their top priorities on the affected question to preserve comparability.
Two in-person community engagement sessions were announced: a senior-focused session at 2 p.m. and a general-input session at 6 p.m. on the near-term schedule; staff also said they will host a remote session and post a link for people who cannot attend in person. Speaker 10 said the project team will develop three alternatives and aimed to preview options to the Select Board around Aug. 20, with more detailed design work to follow.
Staff urged broad participation from residents who do not currently use senior-center or recreation programming, saying the team wants feedback that will inform final design choices.
