Chief Tyndall also outlined a multi‑stage active‑threat preparedness plan: a pre‑drill to exercise specific roles and systems, followed by rotational exercises to refine incident command, triage, collection and transport areas, leading up to a full functional drill in summer. District leaders thanked him and noted districtwide alerts and signage announcing training exercises for staff and families.
No board action was required. Administration will schedule future updates from the fire chief as new milestones are reached.
