Daniel Domreese, the city accounting manager, presented the proposal and reminded council of prior decisions: a council consensus on Oct. 21 to increase certain permit fees and a Nov. 25 consensus to establish fees for rental and use of the golf course. Domreese said, "The calculated increase is 2.64% for fees of $20 or more," a CPI adjustment the city used to align fees with cost changes.
Domreese noted minor, non‑consensus adjustments to categories including permits (Schedule B) and Parks & Recreation (Schedule C) to reflect amenities and administrative costs. After council questions and a public comment period with no objections on the item, the council approved the resolution by unanimous vote.
The resolution updates are effective for calendar year 2026; staff indicated the updates were based on cost comparisons with nearby jurisdictions and earlier council direction.
