She later described plans to issue limited-edition wooden script money to mark the anniversary — including a $50 wooden piece and reissued ones, fives and tens — which will be sold beginning Friday and on Saturday at the museum. The museum will publish guidance on where the script money can be spent and how it can be redeemed.
Council approved the proclamation unanimously and thanked museum volunteers and organizers. The museum’s limited-edition script sale is time-limited and the current wooden script remains redeemable at the museum through Dec. 31, per the museum volunteer’s remarks.
