Timberland Library reports steady circulation, programs and plans to hire operations supervisor

Brenda Cameron, representing Timberland Library, reported to the Tenino council on October library usage and programming and outlined upcoming staffing plans.
Cameron said circulation and in‑house printing activity were up for the month and that the library added roughly 25 new patrons. The library held 15 programs in the month with roughly 68 attendees and participated in several outreach events serving about 72 patrons. Cameron said library staff plan to focus more programming on school‑aged children, technology offerings and senior services beginning in January. She also told council the library will begin interviews soon to fill a newly titled operations supervisor/supervisor position.
Council members thanked Cameron and had no additional questions. No action was required.
