The Tenino Planning Commission opened its July 9 meeting and approved the minutes from its May meeting and the night's agenda by voice vote. Speaker 5 moved to approve the minutes; Speaker 1 seconded and the motion passed. Speaker 5 later moved to approve the agenda, seconded by Speaker 1, and commissioners voted 'Aye.'
Administrative staff reported that the city is close to catching up on financial records and praised the new clerk-treasurer for helping get the books in order. Staff asked commissioners to forward any budget support requests as the city begins work on next year’s budget.
There were no public comments during the housekeeping portion. The formal votes tonight were procedural and limited to approvals of minutes and agenda; no land-use or policy decisions were adopted in this section of the meeting.
