City marketing team reports 2025 recruitment reach and plans for targeted hiring in 2026

Powell said the 2025 effort had two primary aims: an awareness strategy to keep the City of Spokane top-of-mind for job seekers and a direct-recruitment strategy for specific roles. "We had paid ads on Hulu, Spotify, and Instagram. Combined, we received over 1,000,000 impressions," Powell said, adding the campaign reached about 400,000 unique users who saw the ads an average of 2.42 times and generated roughly 11,000 clicks.
