The Select Board on June 25 voted to issue a Section 15F license to Scaff Vineyard and Winery Inc., d/b/a Bridal Creek Vineyard, permitting off-premises wine sales and one-ounce sampling at the Westborough farmers market on Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., June 27 through Oct. 17, 2024. Abigail Scaff, who identified herself as the owner and said her operation is a nine-varietal, 41-acre vineyard in Shrewsbury near the Westborough line, told the board she offers samples in 1-ounce cups and would limit tastes to three wines.
Board members confirmed the license includes authorization to sell on town property and that the vendor had coordinated with Parks & Recreation staff on location and installation. The motion to issue the Section 15F license was moved, seconded, and approved by roll call.
Select Board members welcomed the vendor and encouraged residents to attend the farmers market when it resumes Thursday.
