Harvest Way lot-release request tabled after conservation raises stabilization, stormwater concerns

Developers from The Ridings LLC updated the Planning Board on roadway and lot completion at the Harvest Way subdivision and asked for additional lot releases for lots on the right side of Libby Lane.
Applicant Steven Venancasa and site superintendent Greg Snyder described seven houses currently under construction and requested releases for several lots. Conservation engineering staff (Jen Miller) told the board the site is not stabilized: seeded slopes show bare areas where grass did not take, mulched slopes persisted without vegetation and the lower stormwater basin has been retaining water for months and not draining within the required 72-hour timeframe. Conservation staff recommended no further lot releases until the site is stabilized and stormwater issues are addressed.
Board members agreed a site visit would be useful. After discussion, the Planning Board moved and voted to table the lot-release request and continue the matter to the Dec. 3 meeting so the applicant can address conservation and engineering comments and provide requested documentation.
