Resident raises concerns about property valuation and appeals process at Gage County meeting

She described being told by county legal counsel that the appeals deadline had passed and that she may not have filed the correct forms; she said the fee quoted at one point was $80, not $25.
Rademacher asked for clarification and a response from county staff. Board members said the matter requires follow-up outside the meeting and that staff would contact her to resolve the procedural questions. A county supervisor asked staff to contact the assessor and provide an answer to Rademacher.
The board did not take formal action on the appeal during the meeting; supervisors asked staff to investigate and respond to the commenter after the meeting.
