Fulshear EDC reports sales tax gains, approves payables including $11,111.93 payment

The Fulshear Development Corporation on Nov. 17 received a financial update showing continued sales-tax growth and approved payables for the period.
EDC staff reported that collections received in November (representing September remittances) were up 1.7% from the same period the prior year, totaling $227,785.35. For the fiscal year, the corporation’s sales-tax revenue was reported as $2,248,879.23, which staff said is about 110% of budget and approximately a 14.6% increase year over year.
The board reviewed payables and staff presented a payment of $11,111.93. A board member moved to approve the financial statements and payables for the period ending Sept. 30, 2025, including the $11,111.93 payment. The motion was seconded and carried on a voice vote.
Board members offered brief positive remarks on the steady sales tax performance and had no further questions on the financial packet.
