The Health Commission received a report from the JCC (CSFG) highlighting projects to improve patient access and care flow, several operational successes and ongoing barriers such as limited physical space and rising mental-health demand. The report included standard items: HR, regulatory affairs, CEO remarks and key performance indicators. Commissioners praised improvements in ambulance-diversion rates and the JCC's countermeasures.
On the consent calendar, the commission considered pediatric rules and regulations, psychiatry standardized procedures, revised pediatric urgent-care RN procedures, and revised psychiatry emergency services RN procedures. A motion to approve the consent calendar was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote.
The commission made no substantive policy changes on these items and approved the items recommended by the JCC.
