The Holly Springs Planning Commission on Feb. 27 recommended approval of MA022025, a request by Holly Street Land Development LLC to rezone roughly 17.34 acres off Holly Street to allow a 78‑unit, fee‑simple, townhome development.
Benson Chambers, representing the applicant, told the commission the property has been in H & C Builders’ ownership since 1991 and that Tract 1 (about 13.46 acres) would be developed with 78 attached single‑family townhomes. Chambers said water and sewer service will be provided by the Cherokee Water and Sewer Authority and that the project would be for sale rather than rental. “We expect that the price points will begin somewhere in the threes,” he said.
