At its Nov. 18 meeting, the Frisco City Council acted on a series of routine and appointment items.
The council approved consent agenda items 12 through 30 (motion by Angelia, second by Laura), with the vote recorded as 6-0. The council also approved the legislative-agenda concurrence (item 31) by unanimous vote.
On the regular agenda, the council accepted the resignation of Brian Thompson from Place 6 on the Social Services and Housing Board (motion to accept by Burt; passed 6-0) and then appointed Betty Holston to fill that Place 6 vacancy for a term ending Sept. 30, 2026 (motion by Laura; passed 6-0).
The council considered resolutions to cast ballots for members of the Collin Central Appraisal District and the Denton County Appraisal District boards. Staff recommended tabling the Collin/Denton ballot items so the city could determine how Frisco ISD cast its votes; Council tabled items 34 and 35 to the next meeting by unanimous votes.
The meeting concluded with routine announcements about December meeting logistics and adjournment at 8:32 p.m., recorded as a 6-0 vote to adjourn.
