Chair MacPhail told the commission that a redline document showing proposed bylaw edits had been distributed that day but that most commissioners had not had the opportunity to review it. Because of the limited review time, she recommended tabling discussion of the bylaw edits until the commission's next public hearing on July 2, 2025.
Commissioners raised no objections to tabling the item and the chair confirmed the bylaw discussion will be placed on the July 2 agenda. Commissioners and staff emphasized they would review the redline before that meeting.
The decision to postpone gave commissioners additional time to read the redline and prepare any suggested amendments or questions for the July 2 meeting.
