Governor submits two nominations to North Carolina Investment Authority board

Gov. Josh Stein submitted two nominations to the North Carolina Investment Authority board that the House received and placed on file. The correspondence sent for confirmation named Sally Schuppin Russell of Orange County for a four-year term and Stephanie Lynch of Mecklenburg County for a board post.

"I am pleased to nominate Sally Schuppin Russell of Orange County for appointment to the North Carolina Investment Authority board of directors for a term of 4 years and hereby submit her name for confirmation by the general assembly," the letter from Gov. Josh Stein read. That correspondence included a staff contact number and was placed on file in the clerk’s office.

A second letter, addressed to 'Senator De Burger and Speaker Hall' and signed in the transcript by Bradford B. Bridal, "nominate[d] Stephanie Lynch of Mecklenburg County to serve as the North Carolina investment authority and hereby submit[ed] her name for confirmation by the general assembly," and provided a contact, Elizabeth Hawley, boards and commissions administrator. The second letter was likewise placed on file in the clerk’s office.
