During a short administrative session the North Carolina House approved routine business and agreed to a special adjournment date.
Representative Penney moved pursuant to Senate Joint Resolution 776 that the House adjourn and reconvene Monday, Dec. 15 at 10 a.m., subject to the stipulation set out in Rule 15.1. Representative Dixon seconded the motion. The presiding officer called for the voice vote; the ayes were declared to have it and the House stood adjourned.
Earlier in the session Representative Penney reported that the journal for Nov. 17 had been examined and moved for approval; the House approved the journal by voice vote.
