Severance council approves amended water service agreement with Northwell County Water District

Town Manager Wharton told the council the town and its engineer negotiated changes with the district and that "they have changed it to meet our standards, and we are recommending approval as is." No council questions followed the brief staff presentation.
Council proceeded by motion: the mayor noted a first from Mayor Pro Tem Vandermark and a second from Council member Burrett. A roll call vote recorded affirmative responses and the motion carried. The resolution appears in the packet on page 83.
Earlier in the meeting the council approved the consent calendar and the evening's agenda by roll call. The public-comment period was opened for non-agenda items and the single discussion item; no members of the public spoke.
The special meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. and adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
