General Manager Julia told the board the applicant, Mr. Khozani, paid the deposit, submitted required forms and retained Dudek to evaluate the proposal for consistency with the agency’s groundwater sustainability plan. "Based on Dudek's evaluation, I recommend approval of that resolution," Julia said.
Board members asked staff and consultants to confirm the Dudek findings. Jordan, who reviewed the hydrograph data, told the board the report "checks the boxes" and was generally supportive of the evaluation. After discussion a motion to adopt Resolution 2025-03 was made, seconded and passed on roll call. Directors present recorded affirmative votes and the chair announced the motion carried.
The resolution authorizes verification for the well at 1188 Karn Road subject to conditions in Dudek's evaluation and any recordation or fee requirements specified by agency rules. The well will be subject to subsequent compliance checks under the agency's monitoring program.
