County staff member Christina presented the application, which covers juvenile diversion services, truancy case management and a small administrative allocation for coalition support. Christina told the board the grant amount for the application this year is $51,733 (amount varies slightly year to year) and that prior years’ spending patterns affected the request. She said the program typically serves roughly 50–75 juveniles annually in diversion-related activities.
Supervisor Lydall moved to approve the FY27 application and Supervisor Dawn seconded the motion. The board voted 7 in favor and the motion carried.
What happens next: The chair will sign the application and staff will proceed with required reporting and administration if the grant is awarded.
