"You're asking for approval for the fourth amended, final development plan for the Prairie Encore," Sean Ackley of Ingenuity told the board, explaining the proposal adds 32 carport spaces to the north of the apartment building and 12 on the west side. He said the developer believes no parking will be lost and that, in some areas, the plan increases total spaces.
Board members questioned the arithmetic behind the proposed space count and asked to view the plan boards; Ackley and staff described the change as a minor amendment and requested two readings that night. The item received initial support from staff and the board but remained at the first‑reading stage in the minutes.
No final vote was recorded on the PUD amendment at this meeting; the matter may be scheduled for a second reading depending on board direction.
