The Dardenne Prairie Board approved its consent agenda on Sept. 3, which included appointments to the Planning & Zoning Commission and an item related to the Bear Haven Community Improvement District.
Mayor Witteeman introduced appointees Paul Meske and Angela Lam and invited each to speak briefly. Meske described his background as a retired St. Louis County police officer with 34 years of service and current work at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. "I've given service to my community since I was 20 years old," he said.
Angela Lam said she moved to Missouri in 2017, has lived in Dardenne Prairie since, volunteers with local parishes and Saint Vincent DePaul, and is interested in serving the community. The mayor noted Lam's service in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Alderman Johnson moved and Alderman Gittermeier seconded approval of the consent agenda; board members responded 'aye' with no opposition heard and the consent items, including the appointments, were approved.
