CDRA corrects invoice register and approves payment after agenda discrepancy

Mount Pleasant’s Community Development and Redevelopment Agency (CDRA) approved meeting minutes from Dec. 16, 2025, and corrected an invoice register after members identified an amount mismatch on the agenda.
At the start of the meeting members moved and seconded to approve the Dec. 16 minutes. The body then considered the invoice register listed on the agenda for Dec. 1–Dec. 31, 2025. The agenda listed $17,487.43, but members noted the register showed $16,068.00. Speaker 5 said, “Good catch,” and the board amended the agenda to reflect the $16,068.00 amount before voting.
Speaker 1 recorded the motion by Lynn, seconded by Kate, to approve the register for Dec. 1–Dec. 31 and to change the agenda amount to $16,068.00. The board then conducted a roll call; Clint, Jacob, Russ and Kate were recorded as voting yes to adopt the corrected register. No opposition was recorded.
The board also made a procedural note to clarify the discrepancy in the agenda and asked staff to adjust future packet materials so register amounts match the posted agenda.
The board proceeded to other business after the vote.
