The Manaway Town Council voted to certify the results of the 2025 Manaway Municipal General Election at a special meeting. Town staff reported 884 active registered voters and 568 ballots cast, a turnout of about 64 percent. The clerk’s tally listed Annette Ash with 418 votes for mayor; several council candidates’ totals were read aloud.
A councilmember moved to accept the town’s election results as submitted by the election official; another councilmember seconded the motion and the council approved the certification by voice vote. The council noted newly elected members will take office on Jan. 15.
No recount or contest was raised at the meeting and the council did not change any posted totals; the motion to certify was recorded as passed by voice vote. The council then adjourned this part of the special meeting and opened additional sessions to address personnel and capital items.
