Matt Taylor, who represents Local Infusion, described the site as a controlled storage and distribution point for expensive infusion medications used at nearby clinical locations.
Taylor said the facility would be licensed by the State of New Hampshire and run with strict controls and refrigeration; it would typically have one or two on‑site employees and only a few deliveries per week. "Most of the people going in there will be direct employees of Local Infusion picking up ... medication to deliver it to the location," he said.
No members of the public spoke at the hearing. Board members approved the variance subject to administrative/site approvals and the standard condition that any required state licenses and regulatory requirements be met prior to operation.
Next steps: the applicant must secure administrative approval and state pharmacy licensing and meet any local administrative or building requirements before the site becomes operational.
