L'Anse Creuse board approves expulsions, school-of-choice and several procurement items

The board voted on a recommendation to expel student 0435 (item E2). The motion, moved by Mister Cypress and seconded by Mister De Villa, passed on a roll-call vote with all seven board members recorded as voting yes.
Later in the meeting, after a closed session, the board voted to expel student 0432 with conditional reinstatement at the start of the 2026–27 school year. That motion, moved by Mister Lipsky and seconded by Mister Cyprus, also carried on a unanimous roll call.
The board approved implementation of PowerSchool Enrollment Express (motion by Mister Doss; second by Miss Herndon). The board approved the district's school-of-choice program on a roll call of 6 yes and 1 no (Mister Sellers voted no). The consent agenda passed by roll call and included routine items; the board separately approved a food-service equipment recommendation.
Under bond-related procurement actions, the board approved districtwide playground improvements (package 26-01) and a generator purchase recommendation; motions were moved and seconded and carried without recorded opposition at the table.
