HOLLY SPRINGS, Ga. — The Downtown Development Authority voted unanimously to approve the architect-recommended color and stamped brick finish for the city’s downtown parking deck at 189 Timothy Downing Drive.
Board members reviewed the mock-up panel included in the meeting packet and discussed how the chosen tone would coordinate with elevator towers and other materials. Speaker 1 moved to approve the color “based off the recommendation from the city architect,” and Speaker 6 seconded; the motion passed with a 6-0 voice vote.
The approval authorizes the selected color and finish so painters can proceed; board members noted the architect’s elevation in the packet reflected the originally submitted plans.
