Planning commission adopts zoning change requiring conditional-use permits for hemp and THC retail

Speaker 3 explained that because THC- and hemp-infused products were not previously listed on business licenses, the council asked for clearer regulation. "Anybody that wants to sell CBD I mean, hemp and THC have to come in for a conditional use permit," Speaker 3 said, adding that the change treats all retailers the same whether they are a full hemp/THC establishment or an ancillary seller.
