McKinney said the program is available to any Hennepin County resident or registered business and connects participants with dozens of advisors and consultants across a range of business needs. She listed 10 critical support areas covered by advisors: access to capital, accounting, business strategy, certification, financial management, human resources, legal, marketing, technology and idea-stage assistance.
"You can work with each of our advisors for up to 25 hours," McKinney said, adding that idea-stage consultants are available "for up to 15 hours" to help entrepreneurs bring ideas to life. She also noted business navigators are on hand to help prospective participants determine the best next step.
McKinney urged interested residents and businesses to "explore Elevate Hennepin today," and said thousands of business owners and entrepreneurs have already used the program. The transcript did not specify registration steps, eligibility verification details beyond county residency or any fees.
