Beltrami County wellness committee unveils 2026 calendar, schedules June 25 employee expo

The committee also described an onsite fitness center membership program: staff reported about 40 active fitness-center memberships, a $23 sign-up fee and a $20 rebate after 12 visits, which staff characterized as a roughly $3 net cost to the employee. The committee distinguished funds that support countywide wellness programming from monies restricted to the fitness center itself and encouraged departments to nominate a program administrator for committee leadership.
Commissioners asked operational questions about gym uptake and budgets; staff said they would provide details on membership counts and the wellness budget as requested.
