The City of North Platte Planning Commission voted Jan. 27 to recommend preliminary and final approval of Zeller 2nd Subdivision (File SU26-001), an application by Zeller Classic Rentals LLC to split Lot 39 of the Neville Subdivision at 5101 East 2nd Street into two lots.
Speaker 4 summarized the proposal to commissioners, saying, “The subdivision will split 1 lot into 2 lots. This both lots do have access to city utilities, and a petition for paving has been filed with all neighboring property owners opposed to the paving.” The petition referenced paving on 13th Street north of the property.
Speaker 6 moved to recommend approval of the preliminary and final plat; Speaker 3 seconded the motion. Speaker 1 recorded that the motion was approved and noted the commission will forward its recommendation to the City Council for consideration at the Feb. 3 meeting.
The commission’s review focused on lot configuration, utility access and an outstanding petition about paving; no conditions or amendments to the plat were recorded in the commission discussion. The file will proceed to the City Council, which will make the final decision on subdivision approval and any associated paving requests.
