Budget board moves $172,209 for MIS licensing, approves elected-official pay adjustments and funds county audit

Speaker 7 confirmed the $87,582 Microsoft 365 adjustment had been discussed earlier in the meeting. The motion passed by voice vote.
Separately, Speaker 1 presented detailed calculations for statutory elected-official increases. The board voted to include adjustments for eight elected officials in the September supplement package. Speaker 1 described the recommended per-office and aggregate amounts and instructed staff to prepare the clerk’s worksheets for the supplement.
Speaker 2 moved to include a $59,996 statutory increase for the county audit in the September supplement; the board approved that motion by voice vote.
Board members noted the actions would not exhaust one‑time monies and that staff would continue to present updated projections as the budget process proceeds. The approved technology and audit adjustments will be included in the packet the clerk circulates for the September supplement recommendation to the BOCC.
