Commission recommends approval of Highline Estates preliminary plat despite resident concerns about traffic and schools

The Nampa Planning and Zoning Commission on Jan. 26 recommended approval of the Highline Estates annexation, zoning map amendments (RS4, RS6 and BC) and the subdivision preliminary plat for a roughly 93.75-acre property north of Ridgeview High School.
Connor Lindstrom of Kilometers Engineering, representing the property owner, described a multi-phased plan with 355 buildable residential lots (244 RS4 lots and 111 RS6 lots), a 6.5-acre commercial parcel, roughly 16% qualified open space and multiple access points on Madison, Linden and Franklin.
