Los Alamitos planning panel backs Lampson Park Place with added sewer and affordability conditions

Staff and the applicant also confirmed the project’s timeline ties final market-rate occupancy milestones to progress on the affordable component: certificates of occupancy for the last market-rate units will be withheld unless specified milestones on the affordable units are met.
An applicant representative said the developer is "fully committed to building this project in its entirety" and offered to add language to condition 109 to require that any sewer connection be managed through the applicable sewer agency and obtained prior to issuance of a building permit at "no cost to the City of Los Alamitos."
