The Fraser Recreation Commission on Jan. 6 approved its meeting agenda for the day, accepted minutes from its Oct. 14, 2025 meeting and adopted the commission’s 2026 meeting schedule.
During roll call the commission heard a concern about repeated absences by Commissioner Osely. Commissioner Cook moved to excuse Commissioner Osely; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. The commission then approved the Jan. 6 agenda on a motion from Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Hunter, and moved to accept the Oct. 14 minutes on a motion from Commissioner Hunt, seconded by Commissioner Cook.
The commission adopted its regular 2026 meeting dates, keeping meetings on the first Tuesday of each month except May, August and November, which were moved to the second Tuesday to avoid election conflicts. Commissioner Hunter moved adoption of the calendar and Commissioner Cook seconded; the motion passed by voice vote.
With routine business complete, Commissioner Hunt moved and Commissioner Cook seconded to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned at 8:12 p.m.
Votes and motions recorded during this meeting are included in the commission’s official minutes.
