The Mount Clemens City Commission recorded a series of routine actions during the meeting. On the record: the commission adopted the meeting agenda as presented; approved the minutes of the April 7 / April 11, 2025 meeting; approved purchases and payments as presented (staff confirmed the item was in the budget); and approved the consent agenda by roll call.
All of the listed routine motions were moved, seconded or supported as shown on the record and passed by roll call during the meeting. The meeting later included a separate roll-call approval to enter closed session to discuss a real property purchase and a written opinion of the city attorney exempt from disclosure.
None of the routine approvals included substantive debate in the meeting record; commissioners asked only procedural or clarifying questions in the few instances where staff presentations were offered. The resolution to decertify a portion of Wellington Crescent (Act 51) was also adopted and is described in detail in a separate article.
