She said aerial work had been submitted to Rocky Mountain Power and that crews were mobilizing from Santaquin and Rocky Ridge.
A resident raised concerns that utility crews had already cut into irrigation infrastructure. “This Comcast cut… they cut into the irrigation,” the resident said, urging council staff to coordinate with Gordon Jarrett (the irrigation owner) to avoid further damage. Whiting acknowledged the concern and said the company would work with city staff and the irrigation owner to map lines and avoid repeated cuts.
Councilmembers pressed company representatives for clearer maps of the specific stretches covered by the permit. A company representative (who said some permits were filed under B Jackson Construction) apologized for a previous miscommunication about where crews had started work and promised to supply additional, clearer maps to the city.
