Administration said communication depends on the policy; some require targeted communications to union leadership or building leaders and others are posted online for staff reference. After adoption, administration will create and distribute implementing procedures where required.
Policy committee will meet again before the February board meeting to continue review and preparations for action. The board was told that the packet is intended to satisfy audit requirements and keep the district’s policy backbone current.
