Munoz said the project responded to comments from building, engineering, environmental and fire prevention departments and that the Suffolk County Department of Health had given partial plan approval pending planning board action.
Board members asked questions about basements and egress windows; Munoz confirmed no variances are required for the two houses. The board closed the hearing and reserved decision to allow staff to review any outstanding plan details.
