A Zions Bank representative announced at the Utah League of Cities and Towns conference that the Your Land, Your Plan Community Impact Fund will open a competitive grant round accepting applications through March 15, 2026.
The announcement said the fund, established in partnership with Intermountain Health and Zions Bank and held at the Community Foundation of Utah, will award one-time grants to local public landowners for planning projects, community engagement initiatives and educational programs to help communities manage public real estate assets. "We are your neighbor," the Zions Bank representative said, noting the bank’s network of "94 branches across Utah."
The representative outlined eligibility and application details: funds are open to counties, cities and towns and K–12 school districts across Utah, and applicants can apply through the Community Foundation of Utah’s online portal. "I'm excited to announce the fund will offer its first round of grant opportunities; the application portal will accept proposals until 03/15/2026," the speaker said. The grants were described as one-time awards intended to support public asset-based technical assistance, community planning and engagement.
Attendees were told to visit Zions Bank's booth in the exhibit hall for more information. The Your Land, Your Plan advisory committee will host a question-and-answer webinar in December to discuss the funding opportunity and application process. The speaker closed by reiterating Zions Bank’s commitment to partnering with local officials on community solutions.
Next steps: interested public landowners should check the Community Foundation of Utah website for the application portal and webinar details; the Zions Bank exhibit booth will offer in-person information during the conference.
