The Fayetteville AMP Commission authorized the CEO Dec. 15 to enter a three‑year contract with Zartico for mobile tracking and media attribution software, a tool staff said will provide spend data, short‑term rental tracking and media‑attribution metrics that were not available from the current vendor.
Ryan told commissioners Zartico was selected after research comparing Datify, Placer.ai and Zartico; staff concluded Zartico delivered the most useful data for the price. The contract payment schedule was described as a reduced first‑year payment (half of full year) followed by full payments thereafter, with a recurring annual cost of about $50,000. Staff said the outgoing Arrivalist contract runs through June 2026 and they are negotiating whether any of the roughly $22,000 budgeted for the remaining six months could be recovered; if so, the city would avoid overlapping full payments to both vendors.
Commissioners asked how Zartico’s spend and demographic data would change marketing decisions. Ryan said spend data helps target high‑value visitors who stay multiple nights and spend at local restaurants and retail, improving economic impact and HMR revenue for local businesses.
Commissioner Sterling Hamilton moved and Commissioner Whitaker seconded authorization for the CEO to enter the three‑year agreement; the commission approved the motion by voice vote.
