Task force approves five cash‑seizure dispositions and recommended splits with local agencies

At its December meeting the 4th Judicial District Task Force presented and approved five case dispositions involving cash and contraband seizures. Lieutenant Moe summarized each case and the board voted to approve the recommended distributions in each instance.
Disposition DTF 25 3 61 (State of Arkansas v. Ricky Wright) arose from a Washington County traffic stop on Sept. 15, 2025. Lieutenant Moe said $3,000 was seized; $600 went to the Arkansas drug director's office and $900 to the Washington County prosecutor's drug control fund. The task force recommended 15% (net total $1,500) to the task force with the remaining balance to the Washington County Sheriff's Office; the board approved the recommendation.
Disposition DTF 25 2 66 (State of Arkansas v. Kabasekier Walton), from a July 9, 2025 Fayetteville traffic stop, involved 105 grams of marijuana, scales, baggies and $910; 15% of net ($455) was recommended to the task force and the balance to the Fayetteville Police Department; the board approved the recommendation.
Disposition DTF 25 1 29 (State of Arkansas v. Zachary Barrington) described a traffic stop on Aug. 14, 2025 that yielded 1.3 grams of cocaine, 1.1 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and $580; 15% of the net ($405.50) was recommended to the task force with remaining funds split based on current staffing; the board approved the disposition.
Disposition DTF 23 0 3 0 (State of Arkansas v. Louis Trijago Zambrano) recounted a Jan. 29, 2023 stop with two firearms, 0.8 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of marijuana, THC cartridges and $14,060 seized; the recommended 15% ($6,530) would go to the task force and the balance to the Springdale Police Department; the board approved.
Disposition DTF 25 3 65 (State of Arkansas v. Kunta Delotte) involved a Sept. 25, 2025 search warrant that Lieutenant Moe said recovered multiple controlled substances, firearms and $9,009.91 in currency commingled with task force funds; the recommended 15% of net ($4,545.50) to the task force and splitting the remaining balance by staffing was approved.
For each case the board recorded an oral vote of "aye" and the chair declared the motions carried; no roll‑call vote tallies by individual member name were recorded in the meeting transcript. Each disposition summary appears in the packet (pages 9–13).
