Morrow County commissioners approved a series of routine consent items and two notable authorizations during their Monday session.
The board voted to approve bills numbered 1 through 80 and a package of payments that included liability-insurance pro rata returns and a service-garage lease payment from MCAT. The board also authorized the chairman to sign a memorandum of understanding related to the state fiscal-year 2627 Local Workforce Development Area 7.
In separate action, commissioners approved change order number 3 for DCU Electric, to be paid from contingency funds. The board’s discussion noted the change order was part of an ongoing facilities project and that staff expect to present price options, including alternatives, as work proceeds.
Commissioners also considered a temporary liquor/tenancy permit for the Agricultural Society covering July 2–4, 2025. The motion to approve passed; the roll call recorded at least one dissenting response during the vote.
No dollar amounts for the change order or the consent payments were specified in the meeting record. Commissioners directed staff to proceed with the documented authorizations and to return with any additional details as they become available.
