Equipment purchases: The council approved the purchase of two Class C dump trucks on a state contract to replace two more than 20-year-old vehicles that have required substantial recent repairs. Staff said the replacements will be purchased from restricted road funds rather than the general fund. The council also approved the purchase of a John Deere roller; staff reported the dealer offered a demonstrator unit priced at about $61,004.90 (roughly $10,000 less than a previously quoted $71,106) and the council moved and approved that purchase by voice vote.
Interlocal agreement: The council ratified an interlocal agreement with Carbon County to provide fire emergency services; staff said the contract document had not been attached for signature in an earlier meeting and the May 14 action completed the authorization.
Consent agenda: The council approved consent agenda items A–J by voice vote with no items removed for separate discussion.
