Council reviews Renaissance Fair budget and moves to secure stage grant match

Separately, the council discussed a Culture Connections grant that requires showing $5,000 spent or committed by May. Speaker 5 asked for authority to move forward with using raised funds to assemble a permanent stage (lights and sound would be added later). Council members pressed for safeguards so stage trusses would not become climbable structures, with Speaker 4 urging that design include protections for children.
