Don Martins, the county clerk, presented three nominations to advisory boards and the Washington County commissioners approved all three by voice vote. "On behalf of the Washington County Recreation And Parks Advisory Board, I'm requesting a motion to appoint Mike Tesla to serve a first full 3 year term," Martins said; a commissioner moved, another seconded and the group replied "aye." The clerk recorded the tally as 4–0.
Martins then presented a second Recreation and Parks nomination, asking that "Lori Sines to serve a first full 3 year term from 02/01/2025 through 01/31/2028." Commissioners again moved, seconded and voted "aye," with the clerk confirming a 4–0 result. Finally, Martins presented a recommendation to reappoint Susan Taylor to a second three-year term on the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council; commissioners moved, seconded, and approved the reappointment by voice vote.
The motions were procedural approvals of recommended candidates; the board did not record public debate or conditions attached to any appointment during the meeting. The clerk handled each motion and each passed with unanimous assent. The commission adjourned after housekeeping and the appointments.
