Police Commission adopts revised DGOs on psychological evaluations and secondary employment

Commissioner Benediktou moved to adopt revised DGO 6.14 (psychological evaluation) with a 30-day implementation period; the roll-call vote recorded seven yes votes and the motion carried. "Motion to adopt with a 30 day implementation period," the mover said; the clerk announced, "You have 7 yeses."
The commission next moved to approve DGO 11.02 (secondary employment) "subject to our labor relations resolution." That motion likewise passed on a roll-call tally of seven yes votes.
Both orders will be posted in the commission minutes; commissioners noted the normal concurrence and bargaining steps that may follow for policy implementation and asked staff to monitor the timelines and advise if extensions are necessary.
